Hiking & Walking Museums/Heritage Resources Parks Picnic Water Recreation

Because it is a state park, there is a fee to see Dankworth Pond. There is a 15 acre pond that is great for fishing. There is also a 1 3/4 mile trail that leads to an exhibit of full-size replicas of prehistoric Indian dwellings. These replicas are from known archaeological sites found in east-central Arizona. Dankworth Ponds also has ramadas for picnics.

Directions: South on HWY 191 three miles south of Roper Lake.
